A VISUAL STORYTELLER
Hello, my name is Matthew Rostkowski, a student at Columbia University studying Film & Media and Computer Science. My goal in my work is to find the deeper meaning beyond whatever I am working on, whether it is for a team, a company, a college athlete, or a high school athlete. I specialize in sports videography and photography, and drone work, but I am always seeking to grow my brand and work for a broader range of clients. I started video editing six years ago, but I established my sports videography and photography business in 2018. In 2020, I was a finalist in the All American Film Festival for their Action Sports Category. In January 2021, I was recognized with a Regional Gold Award in the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition for my work in photography and tangentially received the Scholastic Awards Summer (SAS) Scholarship to attend a photography summer program at The Savannah College of Art and Design. In 2021, I earned an Honorable Mention in the Congressional Art Challenge for photography. Most recently, I self-published a small photo book of photographs from Martha's Vineyard.
Since 2020 I have been a part of the media team for Team Spartans AAU as the assistant creative director, traveling throughout the US, following their teams, and documenting their journey.
Nowadays, I am a student at Columbia University studying Computer Science and Film while working with the men's basketball team.
